I'm Emily Ley — founder, author, and speaker. I live in Pensacola with my husband, Bryan, and our three kids.

In 2008, I started Simplified® because I needed a planner that worked for real life and couldn't find one. What began as one planner grew into a company carried by Target, Anthropologie, Walmart, HomeGoods, and more. Alongside it, I've written twelve national bestselling books — on creativity, on running a business while raising a family, and on the messier, more human parts of both. I speak to audiences around the country on entrepreneurship and modern motherhood.

These days, I'm writing more and building less. On Substack, I share the systems that keep a full life running, along with the honest stuff underneath — the complicated parts of family and business, the struggles women carry quietly, and the reflections worth saying out loud.
